Tech Lead, Benefits Engineering
Job Summary
Providing hands-on technical leadership, the full-time Tech Lead, Benefits Engineering will design, develop, and evolve modern software solutions for employee benefits, collaborating with engineers and stakeholders in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and technical design of complex software solutions across distributed systems and cloud environments
- Mentor engineers to establish sound engineering practices and ensure high-quality, scalable software delivery
- Translate business needs into maintainable and secure technical solutions while guiding teams through modernization efforts
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on technical leadership
- Strong experience with C# and .NET / ASP.NET, as well as RESTful API design and development
- Proficiency in building cloud-native applications in AWS and/or Azure environments
- Experience with modern CI/CD practices and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
