Tech Lead Manager

Job Summary

To drive innovative solutions for payroll systems, the full-time salaried Tech Lead Manager will scale complex systems, design services for money movement, and support businesses migrating to Check's infrastructure while collaborating closely with product and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Scale systems that power payroll calculations, tax payments, and filings as volume and complexity increase
• Design services that ensure clear and traceable money movement and reconciliation across parties
• Utilize AI to automate complex operational workflows and support new business migrations

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building complex software and delivering production systems end-to-end
• 1-2 years of experience in a leadership or management role
• Hands-on experience with software development and a desire to continue building with the team
• Proven track record of driving business outcomes and mentoring individual contributors
• Familiarity or willingness to learn technologies such as Python/Django, React, Typescript, AWS, Terraform, Postgres, and Temporal
