Job Summary

To drive solutions for complex payroll challenges, the full-time salaried Tech Lead Manager will scale systems, design services for financial transactions, and support businesses migrating to Check's infrastructure, all while collaborating closely with product and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Scale systems for payroll calculations, tax payments, and filings as complexity increases
• Design services that facilitate and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring clarity and traceability
• Utilize AI to automate operational workflows, enhancing efficiency in processes like tax notice triage

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building complex software and delivering production systems end-to-end
• 1-2 years of experience in a leadership or management role
• Hands-on experience in software development with a willingness to learn the current tech stack
• Proven track record of driving business outcomes and mentoring individual contributors
• Passion for improving engineering workflows and experimenting with AI technologies
