Tech Lead Manager

Job Summary

As a full-time Tech Lead Manager, the successful candidate will manage and lead a team to design and scale systems that enhance payroll processes, while collaborating closely with product and operations to drive workflow improvements in a remote or hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Scale systems for payroll calculations, tax payments, and filings as complexity increases
• Design services for money movement and reconciliation, ensuring clarity and traceability
• Support new businesses in migrating large employer bases onto the company's infrastructure

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building complex software and delivering production systems end-to-end
• 1-2 years of experience in a leadership or management role
• A hands-on approach to building alongside the team
• Proven track record of driving business outcomes and mentoring engineers
• Willingness to learn and work with the current technology stack, including Python/Django, React, and AWS
