Tech Ops Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Tech Ops Engineer will ensure system uptime and integrity for customer systems during overnight EST hours, while managing installations, upgrades, and maintenance of various deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Maintaining system uptime and integrity of customer systems through effective architecture and monitoring
• Documenting technical designs and creating training materials for operational processes
• Collaborating with dev-ops to implement and scale automation of core tasks while ensuring data security

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Expert system administrator experience with Debian-based distributions
• Proficiency in computer networks, hardware support, IT security, and tools
• Experience with cloud, bare metal, and VPS hosting environments
• Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Ansible
