Tech Ops Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Tech Ops Engineer will provide overnight support from 1am to 9am EST, ensuring system uptime and integrity while managing installations and monitoring daily operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain system uptime and integrity of customer systems through effective architecture and management
- Document technical designs and create training materials while monitoring server hardware, software, and operating systems
- Collaborate with dev-ops to implement automation of core tasks and ensure data asset protection through strict security policies
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Expert system administrator experience with Debian-based distributions
- Proficient in computer networks, IT security, and various hosting environments
- Experience with databases and SQL, preferably MySQL
- Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, Bash, and Ansible
