Technical Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Technical Account Manager to work remotely, this role will manage publisher migrations, develop strong relationships with news publishers, and maintain expertise in the Newspack platform while balancing project management and ongoing support responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage publisher migrations from alignment through launch, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring successful outcomes
• Develop close relationships with news publishers, troubleshooting issues and optimizing their use of Newspack features
• Maintain deep knowledge of the Newspack platform and the news publishing landscape, providing guidance and identifying product improvement opportunities

Required qualifications

• Solid working knowledge of WordPress core functionality and common plugins
• Background in client services, account management, or technical support with direct customer relationship management experience
• Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
• Comfort with technical troubleshooting and investigating root causes of issues
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
