Job Summary
A company is looking for a Technical Accounting Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing technical aspects of accounting, including tracking and testing assumptions, maintaining accounting policies, and documenting complex transactions
- Managing teams, coaching, and mentoring staff
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and SEC/S-X Rules
Required Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in technical accounting or experience with a BIG 4 accounting firm
- Thorough knowledge of specific accounting standards such as ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 718, and ASC 360
- CPA or Chartered Accountant certification
- Experience working directly with external auditors
- Experience in managing teams of at least 4
