Technical Advisor

Job Summary

To support the engineering department, the part-time Technical Advisor will co-own the interview process for key engineering hires, design technical assessments, and provide strategic advice on team scaling and organizational design while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Co-own the interview process for key engineering positions, including DevOps and Data Scientist roles
• Design and execute the technical portion of the interview process, assessing candidates' skills
• Advise the Head of Engineering on organizational design and scaling strategies for the engineering team

Required qualifications

• Experience as a CTO for early and growth-stage VC-backed tech startups
• Proven ability to scale engineering teams from zero to 50+ engineers recently
• Technical expertise to evaluate candidates across various engineering roles
• Experience building engineering teams for technically complex products
• Must be based in the USA
