Job Summary
A company is looking for a Technical Advisor - Environmental (Marine Plastics) on a retainer basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical inputs to the SEA-MaP project on marine plastic pollution and relevant subject matters
- Ensure high-level technical quality of project activities and products
- Monitor processes, research, data, and analysis related to marine plastics
Qualifications, Training, and Education:
- Advanced university degree in relevant disciplines such as Environmental Science, Marine Ecology, or Sustainability Studies
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in environmental projects or related fields
- Experience in marine plastics-related projects and knowledge of waste management, recycling, and plastic pollution prevention
- Experience working with regional entities, government agencies, and the private sector is desirable
- Full working knowledge of the English language is required
