Technical Analyst

Job Summary

Working fully remote, the Technical Analyst will act as a liaison between business users and IT development teams, translating business requirements into technical designs, writing high-quality code, and mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities:

• Translating business requirements into technical artifacts and creating scalable technical designs
• Writing, optimizing, and maintaining complex SQL queries and server applications using languages like Java and C++
• Providing leadership and coaching to junior engineers while conducting thorough code reviews to uphold technical standards

Required qualifications:

• BS in Business, MIS, Computer Science, or related field with programming coursework
• 5+ years of experience in client-facing requirement and solution design sessions
• Strong proficiency in SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL, or equivalent) with the ability to design and maintain complex queries
• 2+ years of experience in object-oriented application development using languages such as Java and C++
• Familiarity with software development methodologies, including Agile/Scrum
