Technical Applications Analyst

Job Summary

To enhance clinical and administrative solutions, the full-time Technical Applications Analyst will perform detailed analysis, requirements definition, configuration, testing, and sustainment of health IT applications and systems.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements for applications supporting interoperability and clinical workflows
• Develop user stories, functional specifications, data models, and test plans while assisting with system configuration and integration testing
• Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams in agile environments to deliver enhancements and support compliance activities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Health Informatics, Business Analysis, or a related field
• 5-8+ years of experience in technical systems/applications analysis, preferably in federal healthcare or VA settings
• Proficiency with health IT standards (HL7, FHIR), EHR platforms, SQL/data tools, and requirements management software
• Certifications such as CSM, SAFe PO/PM, or CBAP preferred
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work collaboratively in teams
