Technical Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Architect to lead a high-impact program within the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive technical strategy and system architecture for modernization efforts
• Design and oversee cloud-native, microservices-based solutions using various technologies
• Lead the architecture and evolution of the Fee for Service Data Collection System (FFSDCS) platform

Required Qualifications

• Active or recent Public Trust clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 8+ years of software engineering or technical leadership experience
• Hands-on experience with Java / J2EE, cloud-native architectures, and API design
• Strong experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines
