Technical Architect

Job Summary

Driving the architecture and modernization of cloud-native backend platforms, the full-time Technical Architect will define scalable APIs and event-driven systems using Python (FastAPI) and AWS technologies while collaborating with engineering leaders and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own backend architecture strategy for enterprise e-commerce and customer engagement platforms
• Architect scalable, cloud-native, and event-driven backend ecosystems, establishing governance models and best practices
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to backend engineering teams, driving continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of backend engineering and architecture experience with strong expertise in Python-based ecosystems
• Deep expertise in FastAPI, REST API architecture, and distributed systems design
• Proven experience architecting large-scale event-driven platforms and cloud-native microservices
• Extensive experience designing scalable systems on AWS cloud platforms
• Strong understanding of e-commerce ecosystems and customer engagement platforms
