Technical Architect

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Technical Architect/Lead to provide strategic technical leadership for a microservices platform in a fully remote, full-time role, focusing on architectural decisions, technical debt prioritization, and hands-on guidance for a development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive architectural decisions and lead technical debt prioritization across the microservices ecosystem
• Own the technical roadmap and design scalable solutions while ensuring system reliability and performance
• Mentor developers and establish coding standards, conducting thorough code reviews to ensure quality

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years in technical architecture or team lead roles
• Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Node.js/TypeScript, and experience with React
• Experience with microservices architecture at scale and knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, and Docker
• Preferred experience in the fintech, mortgage, or lending industry with an understanding of regulatory requirements
• Strong communication and mentoring abilities, with a collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork
