Technical Architect II

Job Summary

Driving architecture for a designated business area, the full-time Technical Architect II will design AI-native solutions, establish technical standards, and mentor teams while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive architecture for the assigned business area, translating business strategy into implementable solutions
• Design systems incorporating AI-enabled capabilities and establish guardrails for safe AI usage
• Advance AI-assisted development practices and maintain standards for correctness, security, and maintainability

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 6+ years of experience in designing and building web, workflow, service, and backend applications
• Significant experience in application and solution architecture, including API design and service decomposition
• Hands-on experience with modern languages and frameworks such as Java, Golang, and Spring
• Experience applying AI-assisted development and agent-based workflows to improve engineering outcomes
