Job Summary
Building a talent pool for future opportunities, the full-time remote Technical Artist will create complex VFX assets and materials in Unreal Engine 5 while collaborating with a team to establish workflows and mentor peers.
Key responsibilities
- Create complex materials for characters, weapons, environments, and large world set pieces
- Support teams with Blueprint management and setup for interactable items and gameplay elements
- Establish workflows and tools for other artists to utilize in Unreal Engine 5
Required qualifications
- Strong reel showcasing proficiency in Technical Art & VFX for Video Games
- 2-3 years of technical art experience working in Unreal Engine 5 with Blueprints
- Ability to create art for visual effects, including FX concept, proto, and final FX
- Proficient in tools such as Maya, 3DS Max, Photoshop, Houdini, and/or Substance Painter
- Experienced knowledge of PBR principles and material editors
