Technical Assistant
Job Summary
Supporting file-based workflows and managing media assets, the full-time Technical Assistant will provide first-line technical support for virtual production tools and assist in live and post-production environments while working on a rotating shift pattern that includes evenings and weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and improve media workflows across live and post-production
- Provide first-line technical support for virtual production tools and commentary booths
- Manage ingest, archiving, and delivery of digital media assets
Required qualifications
- Experience in a post-production or media services environment
- Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and cloud-based MAM systems
- Strong understanding of video file formats, codecs, and digital asset management
- Media management expertise, including ingesting, archiving, and content delivery
- Familiarity with distribution tools like Aspera and Signiant
