Job Summary
Technical Audio Designer, a contract position focused on implementing and executing audio systems for immersive gaming experiences, requiring collaboration with sound designers and engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage in-game audio using Unreal Engine's audio stack
- Design and maintain interactive audio systems and optimize performance across platforms
- Collaborate with engineering to integrate audio systems and troubleshoot issues during development
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in technical sound design or audio implementation in games
- Strong experience with Unreal Engine's native audio and Metasound Systems
- Solid understanding of interactive audio systems and real-time implementation
- Experience working closely with creative and engineering teams
- Experience with mixing for atmospheric horror projects
