Job Summary
A company is looking for a Technical Author to develop and maintain clear, accurate, and compliant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and related documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and maintain SOPs and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop user-focused processes
- Conduct periodic reviews and audits to keep documentation current and effective
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Five years of proven experience in document development, particularly in SOP or process documentation
- Technical writing certification or professional certificate in editing is required
- Current understanding of federal, AABB, and CLIA standards governing blood industry manufacturing activities is preferred
- Experience in the healthcare, blood banking, or pharmaceutical industry is preferred
