Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Author to develop and maintain clear, accurate, and compliant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and related documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, edit, and maintain SOPs and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop user-focused processes
  • Conduct periodic reviews and audits to keep documentation current and effective
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • Five years of proven experience in document development, particularly in SOP or process documentation
  • Technical writing certification or professional certificate in editing is required
  • Current understanding of federal, AABB, and CLIA standards governing blood industry manufacturing activities is preferred
  • Experience in the healthcare, blood banking, or pharmaceutical industry is preferred
