Technical Business Analyst

Job Summary

Serving as a crucial link between clinical/operational stakeholders and the technical development team, the full-time remote Technical Business Analyst will translate complex healthcare and business needs into detailed technical requirements, focusing on data management, ETL processes, and SQL development.

Key responsibilities:

• Elicit, analyze, and document complex business and technical requirements to support data integration and reporting initiatives
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to define, test, and validate ETL processes from various sources into the enterprise data warehouse
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including data flow diagrams and operational procedures, to ensure transparency and reproducibility of data processes

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Business, Information Systems, or a related technical field
• 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a healthcare or defense environment, emphasizing data analysis and technical team support
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis
• Experience with ETL frameworks and data warehousing concepts
• Knowledge of healthcare operations and data privacy laws (HIPAA); familiarity with the Military Health System (MHS) or DHA operations is highly desirable
