Technical Business Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Technical Business Analyst will serve as the vital link between clinical/operational stakeholders and the technical development team, focusing on translating healthcare and business needs into detailed technical requirements, particularly in data management and reporting solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Elicit, analyze, and document complex business and technical requirements to support data integration and reporting initiatives
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to define, test, and validate ETL processes for data extraction and transformation
• Develop and maintain documentation, including data flow diagrams and operational procedures, to ensure transparency of data processes

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Business, Information Systems, or a related technical field
• 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a healthcare or defense environment, with a strong emphasis on data analysis
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis
• Experience with ETL frameworks and data warehousing concepts
• Knowledge of healthcare operations and data privacy laws, with familiarity in the Military Health System or DHA operations preferred
