Technical Business Specialist
Job Summary
To advance Operational Excellence and Technology initiatives, the remote Technical Business Specialist will manage strategic initiatives across Midstream Operations & Engineering, focusing on process improvement, data quality, and technology enablement while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with Operations and Engineering to identify and prioritize Operational Excellence and Technology opportunities
- Conduct assessments to understand existing processes and identify opportunities for standardization and automation
- Translate operational needs into business and functional requirements, supporting solution design and implementation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, engineering, or a related field
- 3-5+ years of experience in Midstream, pipeline, or upstream oil & gas operations
- Direct exposure to SCADA systems, EAM/Maximo, or operational data platforms in an industrial context
- Experience mapping current-state and future-state business processes
- Proven ability to translate operational needs into formal business requirements and facilitate cross-functional sessions
