Technical Certification Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely within the Eastern Time Zone, the full-time Technical Certification Engineer will lead product compliance initiatives, manage certification projects, and ensure adherence to international regulatory standards for networking hardware and software.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage product compliance and certification initiatives, ensuring adherence to CE Marking and EU Directives
- Coordinate certification activities with external test laboratories and internal teams to drive successful product approvals
- Analyze regulatory requirements and develop compliance documentation while championing the use of AI to improve processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
- Deep expertise in regulatory compliance and product certifications, including CE Marking and EU Directives
- Strong project management experience in a fast-paced remote environment
- Working knowledge of Common Criteria (CC), FIPS, CRA, or related cybersecurity certification programs
- Excellent analytical and technical writing skills for translating compliance requirements for stakeholders
