Technical Chief of Staff

Job Summary

Acting as a credible proxy for the CEO, the full-time remote Technical Chief of Staff will manage day-to-day workflows, lead strategic planning initiatives, and ensure organizational accountability while transitioning from a technical to a business leadership role.

Key responsibilities

• Attend meetings and briefings on behalf of the CEO, ensuring he is prepared for high-stakes moments
• Manage the CEO's communications and time, prioritizing tasks and protecting his focus
• Lead annual strategic planning and oversee cross-departmental projects to drive organizational progress

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with a strong engineering or technical foundation
• Desire to transition from engineering into business and leadership roles
• Strong bias toward action, with a focus on execution over deliberation
• Organized and detail-oriented, capable of building systems to track commitments
• Fluency with AI tools and automation for operational efficiency; familiarity with scaling frameworks is a plus
