Technical Compliance Engineer
Job Summary
Driving product certification initiatives, the long-term contract Technical Compliance Certification Engineer will ensure compliance with global regulatory standards while collaborating with engineering teams and testing labs in a remote capacity during EST hours.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead product certification and compliance projects for hardware, software, and cloud-based technologies
- Coordinate testing activities with third-party laboratories and regulatory bodies
- Author and maintain compliance documentation, certification reports, and declarations of conformity
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in product compliance, certification engineering, or regulatory affairs
- Strong project management background with experience leading certification efforts
- Expertise with CE Marking and EU Directives including EMC, LVD, RED, and RoHS
- Experience working directly with external testing labs and certification bodies
