Technical Consultant II

Job Summary

Serving as a client-side resource, the full-time Technical Consultant II will manage project tasks, testing, and validation to ensure successful implementation and optimization of HCM platforms while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Serve on implementation projects by configuring technical setups, managing integrations, and conducting testing and validation tasks
• Analyze client processes to identify optimization opportunities and deliver custom training to enhance technology adoption
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and platform vendors to ensure successful project execution and address technical issues

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a client-facing implementation role, preferably with vendor or consulting organizations
• Expert knowledge of multiple Paylocity modules, including implementation, custom reporting, and payroll processing
• Experience with integrations between third-party systems such as API, EDI, or batch processing of flat files
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred in a computer-related field
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with various HRIS software platforms
