Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Content Editor to ensure high-quality user and technical content for software products.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform developmental, copy, and mechanical edits for online content, ensuring a consistent voice and tone
• Update tax-specific guides and maintain boilerplate content for online publications
• Assist in developing and adhering to writing guidelines and editorial standards for multiple products

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical communication field or equivalent
• Six or more years of writing or editing experience in an online environment, including two years of developmental editing for software documentation
• Training or work experience in computer programming, relational databases, or web-based applications
• Training or work experience in accounting, finance, or tax is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Packages and Adobe Acrobat
