Job Summary

Owning customer issues end-to-end, the full-time remote Technical Customer Engineer will troubleshoot complex problems related to Harness security, feature management, and code coverage products while collaborating with engineering and product teams to ensure quick resolutions.

Key responsibilities
  • Debug failures across integrations, APIs, and runtime environments, using observability tools to identify root causes
  • Engage directly with customers via calls to troubleshoot issues and set clear expectations throughout the resolution process
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to escalate issues and document solutions for team knowledge sharing
Required qualifications
  • 2+ years in a technical role involving hands-on troubleshooting, such as engineering, DevOps, SRE, or QA
  • Strong debugging instincts with the ability to analyze logs, configurations, and API responses
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tooling, understanding pipeline structures and failure tracing
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Node.js, Bash, etc.) for automation tasks
  • Comfortable communicating technical progress clearly to both engineers and managers during customer interactions
