Technical Data Steward

Job Summary

Supporting enterprise HR data initiatives, the contract Technical Data Steward (HR Data Analytics) will work remotely to implement data governance standards, manage metadata and data quality controls, and enhance HR data catalogs for a large financial services client.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and support enterprise data governance standards, policies, and procedures
• Manage metadata, data lineage, data quality controls, and lifecycle management initiatives
• Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to improve data integrity and usability

Required Qualifications

• Experience working with Oracle HCM and/or PeopleSoft data
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices
• Experience with Azure Data Lake, Data Warehousing concepts, and Power BI
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server, DataBricks, ETL processes, and integration tools
• Knowledge of metadata management, lineage, cataloging, and master data management (MDM)
