Technical Data Steward

Job Summary

To support HR data governance initiatives, the contract Technical Data Steward will manage the quality, security, and metadata of HR data within an Azure-based data warehouse environment, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards while collaborating with various stakeholders remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and enforce enterprise data governance policies and standards
• Provide technical oversight and subject matter expertise on data management and integration processes
• Build and maintain a data catalog, ensuring accurate documentation of data definitions and lineage

Required qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Stewardship, or Data Management
• Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM or PeopleSoft
• Familiarity with Azure data platforms and data warehousing concepts
• Experience in data integration and ETL processes
• Knowledge of enterprise data governance frameworks and best practices
