Technical Data Steward
Job Summary
To support the HR Data Analytics team, the remote contract Technical Data Steward will manage data governance, ensure data integrity and quality, and oversee technical data management for HR data assets within the Azure Data Warehouse.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and enforce enterprise data governance policies and standards
- Own technical data decisions and provide subject matter expertise on data management processes
- Build and maintain a data catalog, ensuring clear documentation of data definitions and lineage
Required qualifications
- Experience with Oracle HCM / PeopleSoft data
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms, specifically Azure Data Lake and Power BI
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
- Understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices
- Experience implementing data governance capabilities across an organization
