Technical Design Manager

Job Summary

Managing the complete technical development of pattern-making and specifications, the full-time Freelance Manager, Technical Design will supervise a team to ensure timely delivery of product specifications and quality standards in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Directs and oversees the Technical Design team to ensure accurate completion of pre-production specifications within timelines
• Coordinates with the Product Development team for a seamless pass-off to Production Technical Design, managing product changes effectively
• Establishes and maintains fit blocks, technical manuals, and standard operating procedures related to materials management

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of apparel manufacturing experience with extensive knowledge in pattern and technical product development processes
• Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred
• In-depth technical knowledge of end-to-end product manufacturing processes, preferably in Jeanswear
• Ability to manage a large team and experience in project management is a plus
• High proficiency in systems such as Accumark, 3D design software, Illustrator, and MS Office applications
