Technical Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Director to support live and virtual event productions globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Creative team and Executive Producer to assess technical support needs for projects
• Coordinate with vendors for the design and execution of technical requirements, including scenic, video, audio, and lighting
• Create detailed 3D models and site plans to visualize event design and production

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in live and/or virtual event production
• Technical degree in Theatrical/Media/Communications/Scenic Design or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Computer Aided Design (Vectorworks)
• Experience with external design rendering software (D5, Unreal, Enscape preferred)
• Understanding of IP networks and technical equipment for events
