Technical Director

Job Summary

Leading a distributed team of technical experts, the full-time Technical Director will oversee operational performance, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with quality standards across multiple sites in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of technical specialists while ensuring effective communication and alignment across remote locations
• Act as the primary liaison for laboratory operations, supporting audits and driving root cause analyses
• Implement best practices and standardize procedures to enhance operational efficiency and performance metrics across all lab locations

Required qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of leadership experience in the Aerospace or Space sectors, particularly with Nadcap for NDT inspection
• Proven experience managing remote, distributed teams effectively
• Strong background in project and program management, including capital project support
• Experience in regulated environments with a focus on quality-driven processes
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and NADCAP requirements related to materials testing
