Technical Director, AI Architect

Job Summary

As a strategic and technical leader, the full-time remote Technical Director, AI Architect will define the enterprise AI transformation strategy, redesign workflows into AI-native processes, and develop production-grade AI systems that drive measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the company-wide AI roadmap, ensuring alignment with business outcomes
• Partner with various departments to identify high-leverage AI opportunities and redesign processes into automated workflows
• Design, build, and deploy scalable AI systems, managing the full lifecycle from scoping to deployment and iteration

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master's or PhD preferred
• 5+ years leading enterprise AI or digital transformation initiatives with proven ownership of strategy through execution
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, data engineering, or AI/ML roles, with proficiency in Python and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Proven experience designing and deploying production-grade AI systems, including agentic workflows
• Deep expertise in LLM-based systems and a strong foundation in data engineering and architecture
