Technical Director - AI Infrastructure

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Director - Mainframe AI Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the mainframe roadmap for AI capabilities and translate it into actionable plans and milestones
• Lead the architecture for LLM-powered systems and ensure the delivery of AI-native product experiences
• Measure success metrics for AI systems and continuously improve them while transforming workflows with AI integration

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years in software engineering, including leadership of multiple teams in Cloud and Mainframe environments
• Hands-on experience with modern AI systems, including LLMs and agent frameworks
• Experience in fast-paced, multi-product environments with clear ownership boundaries
• Proven ability to build high-performing, inclusive engineering teams
• Demonstrated experience with AI-first workflows and continuous improvement of AI systems
