Technical Drafter

Job Summary

To support a dynamic engineering environment, the full-time hourly Technical Drafter will create detailed diagrams and models of mechanical devices using Autodesk Inventor, while collaborating with various teams in a hybrid or remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed working diagrams and models of mechanical devices and parts using Autodesk Inventor
• Ensure drawings meet applicable standards, including accurate dimensions and engineering information
• Manage drawing revisions and collaborate with engineering and production teams to update designs

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree with 5+ years or Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of professional drafting experience, preferably in defense or aerospace
• Proficient in Autodesk Inventor or similar CAD software
• Experience with document control and configuration management for drawings and design files
• Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings per ASME Y14 standards
• US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
