Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Editor to oversee the quality and clarity of technical documentation for plumbing products.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and edit technical content for plumbing products, including installation instructions and homeowner guides
• Recommend and support technical communication requirements and style standards across all publications
• Lead assignments from conception to completion, collaborating with cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, or Technical Communications, or 4 years of equivalent industry experience
• At least 4 years of professional writing and/or editing experience for physical products or software
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand mechanical product assembly and servicing
• Demonstrated ability to translate between 2D and 3D data views
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and ability to learn complex CMS and authoring tools quickly
