Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Editor (Part Time).

Key Responsibilities

• Review and proofread all project deliverables for clarity, accuracy, and readiness
• Identify and correct grammatical errors, inconsistencies, and formatting issues
• Collaborate with the project team to provide constructive feedback on deliverables

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of relevant experience
• Education/Experience Substitution: PhD and 0 years experience; Master's and 0 years experience; Associate's and 3 years experience; High School and 5 years experience
• Experience editing technical documents related to traffic safety or transportation research
• Familiarity with plain language standards and APA style formatting
• Knowledge of pedestrian safety issues or transportation safety countermeasures
