Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Technical Editor will implement and maintain editorial policies and standards while collaborating with researchers to produce clear and concise technical documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Ensures documents are well-structured and adhere to industry and organizational standards
- Collaborates with subject matter experts to gather information and conducts in-depth research for document creation
- Reviews and edits technical documents for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to guidelines
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven experience in technical writing of software documentation
- Ability to convey complex technical concepts in an understandable manner
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Ability to obtain and maintain required customer clearance for access to systems and facilities
