Job Summary
To support enterprise firewall operations, the remote Technical Engineer III will manage firewall-related requests, configure security policies, and troubleshoot network connectivity issues in a contract role focused on maintaining security and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Process and fulfill firewall-related requests and access changes through ServiceNow
- Configure, implement, and maintain firewall policies and security rules
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and firewall-related issues across enterprise environments
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of experience in firewall engineering or network security operations
- Experience managing firewall rules, security policies, and access control requests
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including routing and BGP
- Familiarity with structured change management processes
