Technical Engineering Lead

Job Summary

Leading the Growth team, the full-time remote Technical Engineering Lead will own the fullstack architecture for customer-facing conversion surfaces, focusing on backend services, APIs, and data flows while mentoring engineers and driving performance optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the fullstack architecture for landing pages, onboarding flows, and conversion funnels with a focus on backend services and APIs
• Champion a component-driven design system to support A/B testing and rapid experimentation
• Drive performance optimization across the stack to enhance backend response times and overall conversion and engagement metrics

Required qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with 4+ years focused on backend development
• Deep proficiency in Ruby and/or Python, with knowledge of TypeScript and React
• Strong experience with API design, relational databases (PostgreSQL), and distributed systems
• Proficiency with at least one public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines
