Technical Interoperability Consultant

Job Summary

Supporting historical load and downstream validation activities, the contract-to-hire Technical Interoperability Consultant will perform troubleshooting for data flow issues and collaborate with technical teams to enhance system performance in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct first-round troubleshooting for FHIR, HL7 v2, and CCD/C-CDA data flow issues across multiple environments
• Collaborate with technical leads and developers to identify and document defects and product gaps
• Utilize command-line tools and basic scripting to validate files and accelerate issue analysis

Required qualifications

• US-based and eligible to access client environments and data
• Working knowledge of healthcare interoperability data types and workflows, including FHIR and HL7 v2
• Experience with command line usage, log review, and basic ETL scripting
• Familiarity with cloud-hosted delivery environments and infrastructure coordination
• Strong documentation skills, including Jira ticket creation and status reporting
