Technical IV&V SME

Job Summary

To support Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) activities for a federal grants management system, the part-time Technical IV&V SME will assess Appian architecture, AWS cloud infrastructure, and application quality while providing objective findings and recommendations in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Review Appian architecture, configuration, performance, and release documentation
• Evaluate AWS cloud architecture, scalability, resiliency, and operational readiness
• Identify technical risks, document findings, and recommend corrective actions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, technical architecture, IV&V, quality assurance, or enterprise technology oversight
• Experience with Appian, including Appian Cloud, application architecture, release management, and performance
• Experience reviewing AWS cloud environments, preferably within FedRAMP or other regulated environments
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, APIs, integrations, and cloud technologies
