Technical Lead

Job Summary

Seeking a remote Technical Lead, the full-time position will oversee the design, development, and modernization of mission-critical federal software systems, focusing on backend architecture and secure application development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of enterprise software systems to meet federal mission needs
• Drive engineering efforts throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring scalable and secure applications
• Mentor junior engineers and establish engineering standards and best practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 9+ years of professional software engineering experience, including enterprise application development
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, GraphQL, and REST APIs
• Experience designing distributed systems and scalable enterprise applications
• Familiarity with cloud-native applications in AWS or Azure
