Technical Lead - API Development

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Technical Lead - API Development to drive the development of APIs and integration solutions in a hybrid or remote capacity, overseeing a small team while actively engaging in coding, solution design, and architecture using Java Spring Boot and Azure technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of RESTful APIs, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards
• Architect and implement integration solutions utilizing Azure Service Bus, Kafka, and other messaging technologies
• Mentor team members while remaining involved in coding, code reviews, and troubleshooting

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 9+ years of experience in Java development, with strong proficiency in Spring Boot
• 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership or team lead role
• Experience with Azure cloud services and integration platforms like Kafka and MQ
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC)
