Technical Lead - Java

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Lead (Java, Spring Boot, Microservices).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead hands-on design and implementation of Java/Spring Boot microservices, transitioning from legacy RPG/AS400 systems in a hybrid environment
• Guide and manage a team of engineers, coordinating project timelines and ensuring high-quality deliverables
• Build and manage infrastructure using Docker and Kubernetes, leveraging AWS cloud services and on-premises resources

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience, including 3+ years in a technical leadership role
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot (version 3+), and microservices architecture
• Proven experience building infrastructure from scratch using Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, and MySQL
• Experience with legacy system modernization, ideally transitioning from RPG/AS400 to Java-based architectures
• Deep practical experience with AWS cloud services and on-premises data center infrastructure
