Technical Lead, Learning Platforms
Job Summary
To provide hands-on technical leadership for the Direct Care Careers platform, the full-time remote Technical Lead, Learning Platforms will design, code, and improve production software while guiding the engineering team and integrating learning management systems.
Key responsibilities
- Write, review, and ship production-quality code while leading the technical work of developers through mentoring and code reviews
- Design and maintain integrations involving learning management systems, including APIs and SSO, within a multi-tenant environment
- Facilitate Agile practices and partner with product leadership to translate business needs into technical solutions and maintain a prioritized backlog
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software development experience with significant hands-on coding experience
- Strong experience with PHP and developing production web applications using modern technologies and frameworks
- Hands-on experience integrating learning management systems, including APIs and related data flows
- Experience leading developers technically while contributing directly to the codebase
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
