Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and make decisions for scaling the data layer
• Write and review code, debug production issues, and establish documented patterns for application teams
• Manage and mentor engineers, represent the platform team in cross-functional discussions, and run developer experience check-ins

Required Qualifications

• Experience with distributed data systems, including database sharding and replication
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and message brokers
• Proven experience in leading small engineering teams and managing their growth
• Ability to think in systems and understand the interplay of various system components
• Clear communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
